“Seventy-five glorious years of being a Republic. We bow to all the great women and men who made our Constitution and ensured that our journey is rooted in democracy, dignity, and unity. The Republic Day celebrations, held at Kartavya Path in New Delhi, reflected 75 years of the Constitution’s enactment and highlighted “Jan Bhagidari” (people’s participation) as a central theme.
A government release described the event as a celebration of India’s cultural diversity, unity, equality, development, and military strength.

These guests included achievers from diverse backgrounds and beneficiaries of government initiatives.
The day commenced with Prime Minister Modi visiting the National War Memorial to honor fallen heroes by laying a wreath.
From there, he joined other dignitaries at Kartavya Path to witness the grand parade, which showcased India’s cultural heritage, technological achievements, and military capabilities.
