New Delhi, 29 October 2024: Prime Minister Narendra Modi awarded appointment letters to over 51,000 young persons selected for roles in various government ministries and departments through a Job Fair held via video conferencing on Tuesday.
Organized by the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), the event included an address from PM Modi to the newly recruited employees.
Prime Minister’s is committed to create jobs as we aim to empower youth and provide opportunities for active contribution to nation-building, he said.
By harnessing the talent and energy of our youth, we can elevate the nation to new heights,” PM Modi said.
The PMO announced that similar job fairs would take place at 40 locations nationwide.
Recruits will join various government departments, including the revenue, higher education, home, defense, and health ministries—all operating under the central government—broadening career prospects for the youth, he added.
Moreover, Under the ‘Karmayogi Prabha’ program, new appointees will receive online training via the iGot Karmayogi portal, offering over 1,400 e-learning courses to equip them with the skills needed to excel in their roles.
