Samastipur, Oct 24 — Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday launched the National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) election campaign in Bihar, calling on voters to keep “jungle raj” at bay and vote for “good governance” under Chief Minister Nitish Kumar’s leadership.

Addressing a large gathering in Samastipur, Modi expressed confidence that the NDA would achieve a historic victory in the upcoming Assembly elections. “This time, under the leadership of Chief Minister Nitish Kumar, the NDA will break all its previous records of victory. Bihar will give NDA its biggest-ever mandate,” he said.

He urged the people to stand by the coalition’s governance model, which he described as a symbol of stability and development. “The trumpet of the grand festival of democracy has sounded. The entire Bihar is saying — ‘Phir Ek Baar NDA Sarkar, Phir Ek Baar Susaasan Sarkar.’ Jungle-raj walon ko dur rakhega Bihar,” Modi told the cheering crowd.

The Prime Minister’s remarks mark the formal start of the NDA’s campaign in Bihar, where the elections are expected to be one of the most closely watched political contests this year
