Chandigarh, November 21, 2024: Moga Police arrested Sunil Kumar Baba, a notorious criminal involved in 17 cases, after a dramatic encounter during his transfer from Dehradun.
According to SSP Moga Ajay Gandhi, Sunil Kumar, a Moga resident, had recently attacked two brothers before fleeing. Acting on intelligence, police apprehended him in Dehradun. During his return, Sunil reportedly pulled a pistol and fired twice at the officers.
In retaliation, police shot him in the leg, subdued him, and rushed him to Moga’s government hospital for treatment. Authorities confirmed his arrest, marking a significant breakthrough in the case.
