Chandigarh, August 7 — The Haryana Government ordered an administrative reshuffle on Friday, transferring 17 Indian Administrative Service and seven Haryana Civil Services officers across various state departments.
The highlight of the administrative orders remained the quick reinstatement of 2013-batch IAS officer Pradeep Dahiya as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation Gurugram, and District Municipal Commissioner, Gurugram. Dahiya, who had been shifted as Deputy Commissioner of Rohtak just a day prior, was reassigned to his Gurugram civic role within twenty-four hours.
Senior administrative appointments included 1991-batch IAS officer G Anupama, who was entrusted with the charge of Additional Chief Secretary for Youth Empowerment and Entrepreneurship, alongside her duties in Social Justice, Empowerment, Welfare of SCs and BCs, Antyodaya, and Civil Aviation. Additionally, CG Rajini Kaanthan was assigned as Commissioner and Secretary for Finance, the Central Committee of Examinations, and Medical Education and Research.
Among other notable postings, KM Pandurang assumes charge as Commissioner and Secretary for Information, Public Relations, Languages and Culture, as well as Mines and Geology, while also serving as Chief Executive Officer of the Panchkula Metropolitan Development Authority. DK Behera was positioned as Commissioner and Secretary for Human Resources and General Administration.
Department officials affirmed that the transfers are designed to streamline administrative coordination and enhance governance delivery across various municipal, developmental, and statutory bodies statewide.
