Mohali, May 29 – The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has started the admission process for Classes 10 and 12 under the Open School system for the 2025–26 academic session, offering a second chance to students who failed their board exams.

The last date to apply without a late fee is August 31, 2025. Students who miss this deadline can still apply between September 1 and October 31, 2025, by paying a late fee of ₹1,500. The board has stated that no further extension will be granted.

Admissions can be completed through three channels:

  1. Accredited schools (list available on www.pseb.ac.in),
  2. Regional offices of the board,
  3. Or directly online via the board’s official portal.

The admission and examination fee must be deposited directly into the board’s account via online payment. PSEB has cautioned students not to pay any extra amount to any third party apart from the official fees.

The prospectus, syllabus, and other details are available on the board’s official website. The open school system is designed to help students reappear for board exams in the same year, offering greater flexibility and access to education.
