Chandigarh, March 24 — The second day of the Punjab Budget 2024-25 session began with Zero Hour in the Vidhan Sabha, where MLAs raised issues concerning their respective constituencies.
Later in the day, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is scheduled to meet Punjab Governor Gulab Chand Kataria at 4 p.m. The Governor has invited the CM for tea, and they are expected to discuss key state issues and the bills passed during the session.
The Budget Session, which began on Friday, coincided with the Governor’s invitation to the CM.
Notably, the relationship between Mann and Kataria has remained cordial, with the Governor approving most of the Punjab government’s budgets promptly since assuming office.
