Chandigarh/New Delhi: The Aam Aadmi Party government of Punjab has launched the ‘Punjab Support Center’ at Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi to assist NRIs of eligible status.
Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann inaugurated the facility on August 8, 2024, marking Punjab as the first state in the country to implement such an initiative.
The ‘Punjab Support Center’ will operate 24 hours a day, providing essential services to the Punjabi community and other passengers arriving from around the world.
A dedicated helpline, 011-61232182, is available for any assistance, and officials at the center will be ready to respond promptly. In addition to the helpline, two Innova cars from the ‘Punjab Support Center’ will be stationed at the airport to transport passengers to Punjab Bhawan or nearby locations.
The center will also offer information about flight arrivals, departure times, taxi services, and assistance with lost luggage.
For emergencies, certain rooms at Punjab Bhawan on Copernicus Marg in New Delhi will be available for travelers and their families, ensuring additional support during critical situations.
