NEW DELHI, March 11 – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Malwinder Singh Kang on Tuesday submitted a notice for adjournment of Lok Sabha proceedings to discuss the rising drug cases in Punjab due to illegal drone deliveries from across the Pakistan border.
Kang questioned what steps the Centre had taken to curb the smuggling and cited Punjab’s ongoing anti-drug drive.
In his notice, he mentioned that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann had earlier written to Home Minister Amit Shah, urging stronger measures to prevent drone-based trafficking.
