Chandigarh, January 12, 2025 – Rupinder Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Vigilance Bureau, Economic Offences Wing, Ludhiana, won the overall championship title at the All India Police Golf Tournament 2024-25 in Ahmedabad.
Hosted by the Gujarat Police, the prestigious event saw participation from gazetted officers of state police and paramilitary forces from across India.
Singh emerged victorious after three days of intense competition at the tough Kalhar Blues and Greens Golf Course.
On the final day, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel presented the awards to the winners during the prize distribution ceremony.
The All India Police Golf Tournament is an annual event, was first started in 1972. It was initiated to encourage physical fitness, foster camaraderie, and provide an opportunity for police and paramilitary personnel to engage in friendly competition across India
