New Delhi, May 19: — Member of Parliament Raghav Chadha has been invited to speak as a keynote speaker at the prestigious Asian Leadership Conference (ALC) to be held in Seoul, South Korea, on May 21–22, 2025.
Described as the “Davos of the East,” the ALC is co-hosted by Chosun Media and the Center for Asia Leadership.
It is widely noted as Asia’s premier international conference, bringing together over 320 global leaders from politics, government, business, and grassroots movements to address key regional and global challenges.
Chadha is scheduled to speak on two key panel themes: “The New Political Vanguard: Young Leaders Reshaping Governance in Asia” and “Crisis-Proofing Nations: Health, Climate, and Conflict in a Poly-crisis Era.”
Drawing from his experience as the youngest ever Rajya Sabha MP and his work in public health and governance in Delhi, Chadha is expected to share insights on youth participation in politics, innovation in public service delivery, and strategies for building resilient nations amid global challenges.
In a statement, Chadha said, “It is an honour to represent India and its youth in a forum that brings together visionaries from across the globe. Asia today stands at the cusp of transformation, and I look forward to sharing India’s perspective on leadership, resilience, and inclusive prosperity.”
“I’m ecstatic to participate alongside such celebrated global leaders like Mr. Rishi Sunak, Mr. Mike Pompeo, and Ms. Laura Lacey. It’s a unique opportunity to present the India story—of innovation, youth leadership, democratic resilience, and global cooperation—on one of Asia’s most respected stages.”
Over 2,500 delegates and around 1,000 university students from 47 countries are expected to attend the event, which this year runs under the theme “The Rise of Nations: Pathways to Great Prosperity.”
Past speakers at the forum include former U.S. Presidents Barack Obama and George W. Bush, Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, former U.K. Prime Ministers Boris Johnson and David Cameron, Alibaba founder Jack Ma, and Netflix CEO Reed Hastings.
This year’s lineup includes former U.K. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott, and Laurel Miller, among others.
The invitation letter addressed to Chadha from the Center for Asia Leadership said, “It would be our greatest delight and honor if you could share your insights as one of the esteemed speakers on two panel discussions entitled: The New Political Vanguard: Young Leaders Reshaping Governance in Asia and Crisis-Proofing Nations: Health, Climate, and Conflict in a Poly-crisis Era.”
The 2025 conference also coincides with the 80th anniversary of Korean Liberation and the 75th anniversary of the Korean War, marking it as a significant year in the region’s history.
