Sri Khuralgarh Sahib, Feb 6: The Punjab government received significant appreciation from the Sant Samaj on Friday for the meticulous arrangements made at Sri Khuralgarh Sahib to mark the 649th Parkash Purb of Sri Guru Ravidass Maharaj Ji. Religious leaders gathered at the state-level function to recognize the administration’s efforts in organizing the event with spiritual dignity and grace.

Sant Nirmal Das Ji Jaure Wale, representing the Guru Ravidass Ji Sadhu Samparda Society, mentioned that the extensive planning reflected the government’s respect for the Guru’s heritage. He noted that the sacred land of Khuralgarh, where the Guru spent significant time in devotion, was the perfect setting for such a grand tribute. “The Guru Ravidass Ji Sadhu Samparda Society extends its congratulations to the state government, particularly to CM Bhagwant Singh Mann, for making extensive arrangements for the Parkash Purb,” Sant Nirmal Das Ji said.

The community also recognized the administration’s tangible steps toward preserving the Guru’s teachings. Sant Pradeep Das Ji of Dera Ballan noted that the allocation of 10 acres for the Sri Guru Ravidass Ji Bani Adhyayan Kendra is a landmark decision. “It is a matter of immense pride and satisfaction that the Punjab government has provided 10 acres of land near Dera Ballan to establish the Sri Guru Ravidass Ji Bani Adhyayan Kendra, for which we are grateful to the government,” he stated.

Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, who is leading a special Cabinet sub-committee for these celebrations, announced that this marks the beginning of a year-long journey toward the 650th Prakash Purb. The Minister mentioned that the government is dedicated to ensuring the Guru’s message reaches every household in the state. Earlier, the Chief Minister and the Cabinet performed Ardas at the Tap Asthan to pray for the prosperity of Punjab.
