Road Mishap Near Indore Kills Three

Nine others sustained injuries following a late-night collision on Indore-Nemawar Road

Indore, April 6: Three young men lost their lives and nine others were wounded during the early hours of Monday when their multi-utility vehicle collided with a truck in the Indore district of Madhya Pradesh. The victims were traveling back to Indore after participating in wedding celebrations in the adjacent Dewas district when the incident occurred.

Assistant sub-inspector Jagdish Rathod maintained that the collision took place around 1:30 am on the Indore-Nemawar Road. He affirmed that three occupants of the vehicle died at the scene, identifying the deceased as Mohammad Farhan, 19, Arish Ali, 20, and Mohammad Irfan, 24.

The nine individuals who survived the impact are currently receiving medical attention at the Government Maharaja Yashwantrao Hospital in Indore. Law enforcement officials asserted that a search operation is currently underway to locate the truck driver, who fled the site immediately after the crash.

While the situation briefly intensified as local residents attempted to set the truck ablaze, authorities intervened promptly to restore order. The police department stated that the situation was brought under control without further escalation.
