Kyiv, April 13: Kyiv’s envoy accuses Moscow of targeting Indian businesses, says medicines for children, elderly destroyed
A Russian missile struck a warehouse belonging to Indian pharmaceutical company Kusum in Ukraine on Saturday, the Ukrainian embassy in India said, alleging deliberate targeting of Indian interests by Moscow.
“Today, a Russian missile struck the warehouse of Indian pharmaceutical company Kusum in Ukraine,” the embassy posted on X.
The Ukrainian mission claimed the strike destroyed vital medicines intended for children and the elderly. “While claiming ‘special friendship’ with India, Moscow deliberately targets Indian businesses—destroying medicines meant for children and the elderly,” the embassy wrote.
No further details were immediately available regarding casualties or the extent of the damage. The Indian government has not issued a statement at the time of reporting.
