Salman Khan Joins Family for Ganesh Chaturthi Aarti

Mumbai, Aug 28 — Actor Salman Khan marked Ganesh Chaturthi with his family as he shared a video of himself performing aarti alongside his parents, Salma and Salim Khan.

The 59-year-old superstar posted the clip on his social media accounts on Wednesday, giving fans a glimpse into the family’s festive celebration at their Mumbai residence.

The video opens with Salim and Salma Khan offering prayers before a Ganpati idol adorned with flowers. Salman is then seen joining his parents in the aarti. His brothers Arbaaz and Sohail Khan, sisters Alvira and Arpita, along with Arpita’s husband Aayush Sharma and their children Ahil and Ayat, also participated in the puja.

The celebrations drew in close friends of the family as well. Actor-couple Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’Souza attended the gathering with their children and were also seen performing the aarti.

Salman was most recently seen in Sikander, directed by A.R. Murugadoss. His upcoming film Battle of Galwan, directed by Apoorva Lakhia, is based on the 2020 Galwan Valley clash.
