Moosa, Mansa, 21 February 2025 — Charan Kaur, mother of slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, has inked a permanent tribute to her sons by getting their birthdates tattooed on her arm.

A video shared by tattoo artist Sonu Tattooz shows him carefully etching the design, which features Sidhu’s name in Punjabi at the top, followed by the birthdates of both her sons. The moment the final artwork is revealed has touched fans deeply, with many flooding social media with messages of support and admiration.

Sidhu’s father, Balkaur Singh, had previously honored his son with a tattoo of the singer’s face and the words “Shubh Sarwan Putt” (“obedient son”) in Punjabi. Last year, nearly two years after Sidhu’s tragic murder, the couple welcomed their second child through in-vitro fertilization (IVF). Their younger son will turn one this March.

“With the blessings of millions who love Shubhdeep, the Almighty has gifted us Shubh’s younger brother,” Balkaur Singh wrote while sharing a photo of his newborn alongside Sidhu’s portrait. “With Waheguru’s grace, our family is healthy and grateful to all well-wishers for their immense love.”

Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on May 29, 2022, while driving in Punjab’s Mansa district, a day after his security was reduced. His third death anniversary approaches this year.
