NAGPUR, Dec 19— Six people were killed on Friday after a water tank collapsed at a solar panel manufacturing unit on the outskirts of Nagpur, police said.
The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. at Avaada Electro Private Limited, located in the MIDC Butibori industrial area. “Three workers died at the site after being trapped under the debris,” a police official said. “Three others were rushed to the hospital but later succumbed to their injuries.”
Authorities have cordoned off the area and begun an investigation into the cause of the collapse. Emergency teams were deployed immediately to rescue and recover those trapped.
