Dubai, Dec 9: Dubai is preparing for a splash of star power as a 55-storey commercial tower named after actor Shah Rukh Khan is set to be unveiled on Tuesday. The project, called Shahrukhz by Danube, will be launched at the Dubai Exhibition Centre in the presence of Khan and Rizwan Sajan, chairman of the Danube Group.

Rising on Sheikh Zayed Road, the tower is being marketed as one of the city’s most prestigious new business addresses, aimed at international entrepreneurs and corporate leaders. The project is also being framed as a joint milestone—33 years of professional success—for both Khan and Danube.

“Dubai’s growth continues to drive real estate demand,” Sajan said ahead of the launch. He added that the city’s population, currently around four million, is expected to rise sharply by 2050, keeping development “fast-paced and competitive.” According to him, Dubai still offers more value compared to markets such as Gurugram and Mumbai, making it an attractive destination for investors.

Spread across more than one million square feet, the tower combines luxury architecture with high-end commercial infrastructure. Unit prices begin at ₹4.2 crore. The building will offer more than 40 amenities, including a sky pool, valet services, exclusive business lounges and a helipad designed for future air-taxi operations. Its location provides direct access to major city landmarks, including the Burj Khalifa and Dubai International Airport.

The developer is also extending its one per cent monthly payment plan to the project—an approach that has helped Danube Properties build a strong buyer base by widening access to high-value real estate.

Founded in 1993, Danube has launched 40 projects across the UAE, with 18 completed and the rest under construction.
