Lucknow: The state administration has taken a significant initiative to support candidates who have qualified the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission UPPCS-2025 Main Examination by holding a special free mock interview session in Lucknow. Organized under the aegis of the Social Welfare Department, the preparatory event was held at Bhagidari Bhavan in Gomti Nagar to prepare aspirants for the final stage of the recruitment process.
To provide candidates with guidance and practical experience, the department engaged serving IAS and PCS officers associated with the Uttar Pradesh Academy of Administration and Management, along with subject experts. The panel conducted exhaustive mock interviews to evaluate the candidates’ subject knowledge, communication skills, overall confidence, and personal presentation.
Throughout the interactive sessions, experts offered detailed feedback, highlighting specific areas for improvement and helping aspirants identify their weaknesses. Beyond mere testing, the panel aimed to familiarize candidates with the nuances of civil services interviews, advising them to retain self-confidence, present a balanced perspective, and effectively structure their responses during the final evaluation.
Highlighting the scope of the initiative, Anand Kumar Singh, Deputy Director of the Social Welfare Department, stated that the programme provided equal access to qualified candidates from various state-supported training centres. Beneficiaries included aspirants enrolled at the Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj Research and Training Institute, Bhagidari Bhavan, Pre-Examination Training Centres, and those under the Mukhyamantri Abhyudaya Yojana, alongside other successful main examination candidates.
