Amritsar, 2 January 2025: On New Year’s Day, Bollywood actor Sunil Shetty and his family paid obeisance at Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib, seeking the Guru’s blessings for the new year. Shetty, along with his family, arrived at the Golden Temple to offer prayers for the welfare of all, continuing their annual tradition of visiting the sacred site.
During the New Year festivities, more than 2 lakh devotees visited Sachkhand Sri Darbar Sahib within two hours, joining numerous prominent personalities, including Shetty and his family, in expressing gratitude and seeking divine blessings.
Speaking to the media after the prayers, Shetty shared his reverence for the Golden Temple, stating that visiting the shrine brings peace to his soul. “I am delighted to have prayed here this New Year,” he said.
Shetty also expressed his interest in working in the Punjabi film industry, noting he would eagerly accept an opportunity to appear in a Punjabi film or song.
