Hoshiarpur: Former Delhi Education Minister and AAP Punjab Prabhari Manish Sisodia interacted with over 200 government school teachers in Hoshiarpur on Teachers’ Day, highlighting the pivotal role of educators in advancing the state’s academic standards. Addressing the gathering, the AAP Prabhari affirmed that Punjab’s position at the top spot nationally for classroom learning outcomes was earned through the dedication and capability of its teaching workforce. He declared that while state policies provide resources and international training exposures in Singapore, Finland, and IIM Ahmedabad, true educational transformation is driven within classrooms. Local public representatives, including Deputy Speaker Jai Krishan Singh Rouri and MP Raj Kumar Chabbewal, were also present during the interactive session.
Participating teachers shared operational successes from their institutions, citing instances where enrolment figures expanded significantly through community trust and students cleared competitive examinations like NEET and JEE. The meeting underscored technological integration, including the positive impacts observed from reading comprehension digital tools in primary schools. Sisodia asserted that sustainable educational reform relies on prioritizing teacher dignity and providing platforms for educators to contribute to policy formulation. He maintained that preparing students to clear national entrance tests while building strong moral values forms the cornerstone of the state’s long-term human resource strategy.
