Washington, April 2: President Donald Trump declared that Iran faces devastating strikes against its infrastructure within the next three weeks unless a peace agreement is reached. During a televised address on Wednesday night, the president stated that the United States is prepared to target the Islamic republic’s electrical generating plants simultaneously if diplomatic efforts fail to produce a deal.

The president maintained that the ongoing military campaign, titled Operation Epic Fury, remains on schedule to meet its primary goals. He affirmed that the U.S. military intends to hit Iranian positions extremely hard over the coming weeks to ensure all objectives are fully achieved.

“We are going to bring them back to the Stone Age where they belong,” Trump asserted during his speech. He noted that while discussions are currently taking place, the U.S. has already identified specific high-value targets should those talks collapse.

Regarding the global energy crisis sparked by the blockade of the Strait of Hormuz, the president remarked that countries requiring oil should take independent action to clear the waterway. He argued that the most difficult military tasks are finished and suggested that the strait would eventually reopen on its own once the hostilities cease.

“When this conflict is over, the Strait will open up naturally,” the president said. He further encouraged nations struggling with fuel shortages to purchase oil from American reserves, stating that the U.S. has a sufficient supply to meet international demand.

The president also addressed the status of the Iranian leadership, noting that while the U.S. did not explicitly seek regime change, the collapse of the previous administration has effectively occurred. He declared that much of the command structure of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has been decimated, leading to the emergence of a leadership group he described as more reasonable.
