Chandigarh, March 22 — Twitter’s former bird logo, removed from its San Francisco headquarters after Elon Musk rebranded the platform to X, sold for $34,375 at an auction. The 254 kg sign, measuring 12 feet by 9 feet, was purchased by an undisclosed buyer, according to RR Auction, which deals in rare and collectible items.
“The logo attracted significant interest due to its association with the platform’s transformation,” RR Auction mentioned in a statement.
Musk had previously auctioned off various items from the former Twitter, including signs, memorabilia, kitchen equipment, and office furniture.
The auction also featured other tech memorabilia, with an Apple-1 computer and its accessories selling for $375,000. A 1976 Apple Computer Co. check signed by Steve Jobs fetched $112,054, while a first-generation, factory-sealed 4GB iPhone was sold for $87,514.
