Lahaul-Spiti, June 17 – Two people, including a woman, were killed and several others injured after a tempo traveller carrying 24 passengers plunged into a gorge near Gramphu on the Koksar-Rohtang road on Monday evening, police said.
The injured were rushed to a hospital in Manali, while local police teams reached the spot for rescue operations.
The Lahaul-Spiti police have urged drivers to avoid mobile use and drug consumption while driving, especially on treacherous mountain routes.
