Two sisters die of gas geyser leak in Mysuru home

MYSURU, October 25 — Two sisters died after inhaling leaked LPG gas from a geyser at their home in Mysuru on Saturday morning, police said.

The deceased were identified as Gulfam (23) and her sister Simran Taj (20). According to officials, the geyser emitted gas but did not catch fire.

Police said the sisters were using the bathroom when the incident occurred. When they failed to come out for a long time, their father, Altaf, broke open the door and found them lying unconscious.

They were rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead. Police have begun an investigation and urged residents to ensure proper ventilation while using gas geysers.
