New Delhi, July 24: Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal stated that the central government’s proposal to set up fast-track courts does not address the primary demands of students protesting over examination paper leaks.
“Students didn’t demand fast-track courts; they demanded Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation,” declared Arvind Kejriwal, asserting that the proposed judicial measures fail to offer concrete solutions to prevent future examination leaks.
The AAP leader noted that existing fast-track courts across the country often face delays similar to regular courts, maintaining that administrative reforms are necessary to restore trust in national competitive examinations. He noted that the measures announced lack systemic safeguards to guarantee secure testing for upcoming entrance exams.
“No announcement has been made that gives students confidence that paper leaks will be prevented,” affirmed Arvind Kejriwal, expressing concern over the handling of student demonstrations and calling for greater empathy toward affected youth.
Addressing the law enforcement response to ongoing student demonstrations at Jantar Mantar, the former chief minister shared that several injured protesters required medical treatment following recent clashes. He maintained that the administration should show greater consideration for the welfare of the youth and engage directly with their concerns.
“The Aam Aadmi Party stands firmly with the youth and will continue to raise their voice at every platform,” asserted Arvind Kejriwal, calling for structural changes in the examination process to safeguard the academic future of students nationwide.
