We Crushed Enemy’s Fangs: PM At Adampur

ADAMPUR, May 13: — Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday praised the Indian Armed Forces, BSF, and paramilitary units for executing what he described as an “exceptional, unimaginable, and majestic” Operation Sindoor, saying the mission had successfully destroyed nine Pakistan-based terror camps and killed over 100 militants.

Speaking at the Indian Air Force’s Adampur base—which Pakistan had falsely claimed to have destroyed during the recent cross-border conflict—Modi declared that India’s response to terrorism had entered a “new normal” and warned Islamabad that “the operation has been paused, not stopped.”

“If Pakistan indulges in any terror activity or military misadventure, we will give a befitting reply on our terms, in our way, and at a time of our choosing,” Modi told troops, rallying them with chants of “Bharat Mata ki Jai” and urging them to remain vigilant and ready.

He emphasized that India’s red line on terrorism is now unambiguous. “The world is now moving forward with India’s new anti-terrorism doctrine in mind,” he said.

‘We Crushed the Enemy’s Fangs’

Referring to the symbolic significance of Operation Sindoor, Modi invoked the image of sindoor wiped from the foreheads of Indian women in terror attacks, saying: “When sindoor was wiped off the foreheads of our sisters and mothers, we crushed the fangs of the enemy by entering his house. The enemy hid like cowards, but forgot it was facing the Indian Forces.”

The Prime Minister also took direct aim at Pakistan’s nuclear posturing, declaring that India’s military had “punctured the nuclear blackmail bubble”. He said India would no longer differentiate between “terrorist governments and terrorist perpetrators.”

Sharing what he called India’s three-pronged national policy on terrorism, Modi said:

  1. India will respond to terrorism in its own way, on its own terms.
  2. Nuclear threats will no longer be tolerated.
  3. No distinction will be made between state sponsors of terror and terrorists themselves.

Standing before the S-400 surface-to-air missile system, which Pakistan had falsely claimed to have destroyed, Modi praised the coordination between Indian military branches during the operation.

“Every second of Operation Sindoor testified to the capacity of our military,” he said. “The Navy dominated the seas, the Army secured the borders, and the Air Force attacked and defended. BSF and paramilitary forces displayed exceptional capabilities. This is jointness. This is the new identity of the Indian military.”

Modi highlighted how manpower and machines worked in tandem, blending modern Russian technology like the S-400 with traditional combat tactics and indigenous systems. “You combined tech with tactics and showed the world that you’re at the top of the game,” he said.

Addressing soldiers in the heart of Punjab, the Prime Minister invoked Guru Gobind Singh, saying, “Sava lakh se ek ladaun, chidiyan te main baaj tadaun, tabe Gobind Singh naam kahaun,” and added, “Wielding weapons to restore dharma is our culture.”

Modi called Punjab the “land of the brave” and reminded the soldiers that India was both a land of Buddha and Guru Gobind Singh—committed to peace, but never hesitant to strike back when humanity is threatened.

“We have to keep reminding the enemy that this is the new Bharat,” Modi said. “This Bharat seeks peace, but if attacked, it knows how to raze the enemy to the ground.”

The Prime Minister concluded by thanking the forces for defending India’s honour, stating, “Despite Pakistan’s repeated efforts, it couldn’t touch our defence infrastructure. That credit belongs to each of you.”
