Mukerian, July 20: AAP National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal announced that the Punjab government will transfer monthly financial honorariums directly to the bank accounts of over 50 lakh newly registered women on August 1. Speaking at a public ceremony in Mukerian, the party leadership confirmed that women awaiting payments will receive arrears covering the entire three-month period from July through September.

Addressing the gathering, Arvind Kejriwal maintained that the state government operates with absolute integrity, allowing it to provide free electricity and fund large-scale welfare initiatives without financial strain. He noted that the administration has maintained a clean record without corruption allegations throughout its term. Drawing attention to the Mawan Dhiyan Satkar Yojna, he affirmed that general category women receive 1,000 rupees monthly, while SC community beneficiaries receive 1,500 rupees.

The party leadership also outlined plans to expand spiritual travel and preserve cultural heritage across the state. Under the expanded Mukh Mantri Teerath Yatra Yojna, free pilgrimage bus services will add new routes to major destinations including Haridwar, Rishikesh, Mathura, and Vrindavan. In addition, new infrastructure projects will develop historical religious sites in Amritsar and Patiala.

Arvind Kejriwal affirmed that the ongoing government presence at the local level reflects an unwavering commitment to public service. He declared that Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann continues to work round the clock for the welfare of every citizen, asserting that such dedicated leadership remains vital for the state’s continued progress.
