Chandigarh, April 30: The Aam Aadmi Party expanded its influence within Punjab’s athletic community on Thursday as renowned wrestler Pritpal Singh Phagwara officially joined the ranks in Chandigarh. Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann led the formal induction ceremony, marking a strategic addition for the party particularly within the Doaba region.

Pritpal Singh, a distinguished athlete who holds the prestigious Rustum-e-Hind and Hind Kesari titles, was presented with a traditional siropa by the Chief Minister.
