May 21: CSK vs RR Highlights: Rajasthan Royals’ young opener Vaibhav Suryavanshi touched Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s feet and concluded the IPL 2025 season with blessings. Rajasthan and Chennai Super Kings (CSK) faced each other at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi on Tuesday. This was Rajasthan’s last match this season and 14-year-old Vaibhav was successful in making an impact in this match as well.

Vaibhav made headlines this season

When the players of both the teams were meeting each other after the match, Dhoni and Vaibhav encountered each other and this young batsman touched Mahi’s feet. Dhoni, however, was seen stopping him. Vaibhav is the youngest player to play in the IPL and he made a lot of headlines in his very first season. Vaibhav got a chance to play in seven matches this season and scored 252 runs at a strike rate of 206.56 and an average of 36. Rajasthan had bought Vaibhav in the mega auction and this batsman lived up to the team’s expectations. However, the Rajasthan team could not make it to the playoffs and its journey came to an end in the group stage itself.

Rajasthan won on the strength of Vaibhav-Samson

On the basis of a 90+ run partnership between Vaibhav Suryavanshi and Sanju Samson, Rajasthan Royals defeated Chennai Super Kings by six wickets.
