153 Pakistani Drones, 190 kg Heroin Seized Along IB: BSF

Amritsar: The Border Security Force (BSF) reported that in the last nine months, they seized 153 Pakistani drones, along with 190 kg of heroin, 29 weapons, and 400 rounds of ammunition along the International Border in Punjab.

According to a BSF press release, 153 individuals, including 25 Pakistani nationals, were apprehended in border areas for smuggling or infiltration activities.

The BSF has implemented a multi-faceted strategy to dismantle the drug and arms supply chain originating from Pakistan, it said.

The force has increased vigilance along the border, utilized advanced technology, and coordinated closely with local communities to combat illegal activities, it reads.

Moreover, the BSF is collaborating with central and state agencies to enhance its operations in tracking, intercepting, and neutralizing border threats.
