Kaithal, 12 October, 2024: Eight persons, including four children, were killed in a road accident near Kaithal, Haryana, on Dussehra day when their Alto car fell into the Mundri canal around 9:30 AM while the family was traveling from Pundri to Kaithal, according to reports.
Local police and villagers responded quickly to the scene, but all eight were pronounced dead at the hospital.
The driver is reported to be in critical condition and is receiving treatment.
Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic incident.
