Ahmedabad, June 17: Air India’s flight AI-159 from Ahmedabad to London (Gatwick) was cancelled on Monday due to a technical snag, leaving passengers frustrated and without clear answers.
Initially informed of a two-hour delay, passengers were later told the flight stood cancelled. “I was going to Gatwick by the 1 p.m. flight, but the crew just told us it’s cancelled. No reason, no refund details,” said a stranded passenger.
Many flyers expressed anger over the lack of timely updates, alternative arrangements or basic facilities. The airline has not issued any official statement on the reason for the cancellation or the next course of action.
