CHANDIGARH, Aug 9 — The Registering and Licensing Authority (RLA) will begin online registration on August 11 for the e-auction of registration numbers in the new ‘CH01DA’ series, along with a re-auction of leftover fancy and special numbers from earlier series.
Registration will remain open until 5 p.m. on August 18. E-bidding will start at 10 a.m. on August 19 and close at 5 p.m. on August 21.
The re-auction will cover remaining numbers from the CH01CZ, CH01CY, CH01CX, and CH01CW series. Only vehicle owners with a Chandigarh address are eligible to participate.
Applicants can register at the national transport website vahan.parivahan.gov.in/fancy to obtain a unique acknowledgment number (UAN). The link is also available at www.chdtransport.gov.in.
Details on registration fees, reserve prices for each special number, lists of leftover numbers from previous series, e-auction procedures, and terms and conditions are available on the RLA website.
