Chandigarh, 07 October 2024: Ratan Tata has publicly refuted rumors regarding his health, specifically claims that he was admitted to the ICU stating that these reports are unfounded.
In a statement, Tata addressed the rumors, saying, “I am aware of the recent speculation about my health. I want to assure everyone that all these claims are baseless. I am currently undergoing necessary medical examinations due to my age and health. There’s nothing to worry about; I feel fine. I request the public and media to avoid spreading false information.”
Earlier reports suggested that the industrialist and honorary chairman of Tata Sons had been hospitalized at Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai after experiencing a sudden drop in blood pressure, which led to his ICU admission.
However, Tata has since clarified that these claims are not true.
Ratan Tata is an Indian industrialist and the former chairman of Tata Sons, the holding company of the Tata Group, one of India’s largest and oldest conglomerates. Born on December 28, 1937, Tata is known for his role in transforming the Tata Group into a global powerhouse, expanding its operations into various sectors, including steel, automobiles, information technology, telecommunications, and consumer products.
