Mohali, Jan 21: Mohali now hosts an international-level music and post-production facility following the official opening of Smarters Music Studio on Wednesday. The center is designed to provide regional artists and filmmakers with professional infrastructure previously found only in major metro hubs.
The facility distinguishes itself as the sole music studio in North India to feature the DaVinci Resolve Advanced Panel. This high-end color grading system is a staple in premium OTT productions and international cinema, allowing local creators to achieve cinematic finishing and broadcast-ready mastering within the region.

Renowned actor and comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi attended the launch as the chief guest, noting that the facility represents a new chapter for the creative industry in Punjab. He joined a gathering of film, music, and OTT professionals who inspected the new visual and audio workflows.

“The level of technology, sound design and visual post-production available here matches global standards,” Ghuggi said during the event.

“It is inspiring to see such a world-class facility come up in Mohali. This studio will create immense opportunities for local talent and take Punjabi music and cinema to new heights.”

The studio offers a comprehensive suite of services, including Dolby Atmos mixing, professional recording, background scoring, and sound restoration. These audio capabilities are paired with industry-grade acoustics to support music production and podcasting.
Music producer Sukh Brar, the driving force behind the project and a specialist in mixing and mastering, mentioned that the studio was conceived to bridge the gap between local talent and global technology. He explained that the infrastructure is intended to support the entire North Indian entertainment ecosystem.

“Smarters Music Studio was conceived with a vision to bring international-level music and post-production technology to Punjab,” Brar said.

“Our aim is to provide artists, filmmakers and content creators with a space where creativity is supported by world-class infrastructure. With this launch in Mohali, we are proud to contribute to the growth of North India’s music, film and OTT ecosystem.”
