Mohali, Feb 15: Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann was rushed to Fortis Hospital in Mohali on Sunday afternoon after experiencing a sudden health complication. Sources maintained that the Chief Minister’s blood pressure apparently shot up while he was in Dhuri, leading to the immediate cancellation of his planned official engagements. Mann arrived at the medical facility around 3:20 p.m., where a specialized team of doctors began a thorough examination.

The Chief Minister had been participating in Mahashivratri events in Sangrur alongside AAP National Convener Arvind Kejriwal prior to the health scare. Although he was scheduled to travel to Fazilka later in the day, his deteriorating condition necessitated an urgent detour to Chandigarh and subsequently to the Mohali hospital. Officials noted that a scheduled press conference was also called off at the last minute due to these developments.

Medical professionals at the private facility affirmed that the Chief Minister is currently under observation. While the government has not yet issued a formal medical bulletin, sources mentioned that his vital signs are being closely monitored. This sudden hospitalization follows a busy schedule of public appearances across the state over the weekend.
