New Delhi, Feb 19: School authorities in Noida and Delhi moved swiftly to evacuate premises on Thursday after at least 15 educational institutions received anonymous bomb threats via email. The incidents occurred while students were appearing for their CBSE board exams, prompting administrators to inform parents and clear the buildings immediately.
The Noida Police maintained that their teams were deployed to a dozen schools to ensure the safety of all individuals present. Simultaneously, emergency agencies in Delhi responded to similar reports from schools in Dwarka and Paschim Enclave. Police units and local administration officials asserted that extensive search operations were conducted to secure the environments.
While no hazardous materials were discovered during the initial sweeps, the investigation remains active. Authorities declared that the priority is identifying the source of these communications to confirm whether they were a coordinated hoax.
