Mumbai, July 5: Renowned actor Aamir Khan married Bengaluru-based entrepreneur Gauri Spratt on Sunday morning during a private ceremony held at his residence in Bandra, Mumbai. The couple officially registered their union under the Special Marriage Act, marking a new chapter in their long-standing relationship. The first visual glimpses of the low-key wedding emerged shortly after the legal formalities, released onto social media by the actor’s official representative.
The gathering was strictly limited to a small circle of childhood friends, close relatives, and immediate family members. All four children from the couple’s previous relationships attended the ceremony to support their parents. The 61-year-old actor had previously shared his wedding schedule while attending the premiere of Rajkumar Hirani’s latest project earlier in the week.
“Yes, I am getting married on July 5th, and it is going to be a very small, intimate wedding,” Khan stated when discussing his upcoming plans with the press. He declared that a home setting was preferred to ensure privacy for both participating households. “We are hosting it at home with both our families and some close friends.”
The marriage is the third for the veteran performer, who was previously wed to Reena Dutta and subsequently to film director Kiran Rao. Spratt, who manages her own business ventures, was first introduced to the public by the actor during his milestone birthday celebrations last year. Representatives close to the family maintained that the duo shared a deep bond as acquaintances for nearly two decades before their companionship gradually shifted toward romance.
