Patiala, July 9: The Congress party has intensified its organizational activities in Punjab, focusing on structural unity and grassroots coordination ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections. As part of this strategic outreach, political affairs incharge Bhupesh Baghel led a high-profile meeting with veteran party leader and former minister Brahm Mohindra at his Patiala residence on Thursday.
“Greater unity and coordination within the organization are absolutely essential as we approach the upcoming elections,” Brahm Mohindra declared following the deliberations. He asserted that the party must actively draw upon the deep experience of its senior leadership to build a robust political framework in the state.
The discussion also involved Mohit Mohindra, who affirmed that the leadership is deeply committed to enhancing internal cohesion across all districts. The meeting forms part of a broader series of structured interactions designed by the Punjab Congress leadership to revitalize its cadre and ensure all factions are aligned well before the election campaign begins.
“Our primary focus remains on intensifying outreach at the constituency levels and further activating our grass-roots network,” Mohit Mohindra maintained. He noted that direct engagement with the public would be standard practice moving forward to address pressing regional concerns.
