GURUGRAM, July 15 — A massive fire broke out at the vacant Kingdom of Dreams entertainment hub in Sector 29 on Wednesday, causing significant destruction to the prominent local landmark. Multiple emergency response units rushed to the scene to battle the intense flames, which sent thick plumes of smoke visible across neighboring commercial sectors. Local authorities confirmed that the site was completely empty at the time of the incident, preventing any injuries or loss of life during the operation.

Fire department officials noted that the facility’s long-standing closure shielded the public from potential danger, though the physical structure itself suffered catastrophic damage. According to initial assessments, the once-vibrant cultural destination has been heavily compromised by the intensity of the flames. Firefighters worked for several hours to completely douse the remaining pockets of heat and secure the surrounding perimeter.

The structural composition of the building’s exterior contributed significantly to the rapid spread of the smoke. Fire Officer Naresh Kumar stated that the fire station is located close to the site, allowing officials to notice thick smoke soon after the blaze started. He maintained that smoke was rising from the thermocol installed on the front side of the building, following which five to six fire engines were immediately sent to the spot.

A full investigation has been launched by the municipal administration to determine the precise origin and cause of the outbreak. Kumar affirmed that the facility had been shut for quite some time and was lying vacant, which is why no casualties were reported. He also noted that a similar fire had broken out at the same property earlier during the night, declaring that the structure has now been reduced to scrap.

The incident marks the second major commercial property fire in the district within a 24-hour window. On Tuesday evening, emergency crews were called to battle a large-scale warehouse fire in the Jhund Sarai industrial pocket. Senior safety officials confirmed that the previous warehouse incident was also resolved without any civilian or emergency personnel injuries.
