Mukerian, July 16: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann declared that Punjab will maintain its upward trajectory across all developmental sectors through the persistent trust of its people. Addressing a large public gathering in the Mukerian constituency, the Chief Minister affirmed that his governance model prioritizes the advancement and well-being of the citizenry over mere political authority.
The Chief Minister maintained that the Aam Aadmi Party administration has systematically fulfilled its public commitments by introducing comprehensive overhauls in school infrastructure, medical access, electricity supply, and community welfare. Mann asserted that the tax revenue collected from citizens is now being reinvested directly into public assets, which has facilitated free domestic power for ninety percent of households and secured corporate-free employment for more than sixty-eight thousand youths.
In sharp contrast to these initiatives, Mann stated that the Congress remains deeply entangled in internal rivalries for leadership positions while openly declaring intentions to dismantle current welfare structures if given the opportunity. The Chief Minister also turned his focus toward the Akali Dal, declaring that those responsible for the sacrilege of the Sri Guru Granth Sahib will face rigorous legal consequences, while noting that the opposition party has lost its foundational public support due to past administrative failures.
Recent evaluations by the National Institution for Transforming India Aayog show Punjab securing the top national rank in primary and middle school education, outperforming regions like Kerala and Maharashtra. State initiatives have also driven canal water utilization for agricultural irrigation from twenty-two percent up to eighty-eight percent, successfully raising local water tables by two to four meters. Furthermore, the newly launched Mukh Mantri Sehat Yojna now provides cashless medical treatments for up to ten lakh rupees per family, alongside continuous direct financial transfers under the Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojana.
