Barnala, July 25: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann ordered the immediate suspension of Barnala Sub Division DSP Satvir Singh following an unfortunate incident involving sanitation workers in Barnala, Sangrur MP Gurmeet Singh Meet Hayer announced.
The action came after the matter was raised directly with the Chief Minister to ensure quick accountability and maintain public trust.
MP Meet Hayer asserted that the administration remains firm on protecting the dignity and rights of every individual. “The incident was highly condemnable and deeply unfortunate,” Hayer declared, adding that the state government operates with zero tolerance toward any form of injustice or official misconduct.
Hayer affirmed that swift and decisive steps are central to the government’s approach in addressing grievances, reassuring the public that full justice will be delivered in the matter.
