Lucknow, July 27: The Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Department established a revised protocol for departmental online review meetings, making participation mandatory for divisional and district-level officers to ensure administrative accountability.
Under the new directives, Assistant Directors of Education (Basic) and District Basic Education Officers must personally attend every online review meeting conducted by the Directorate.
“Non-attendance by key officers during crucial review sessions compromises administrative rigor, making a structured participation framework essential,” stated Director of Education (Basic) Anil Bhushan Chaturvedi in the official release.
The directive specifies that in cases of unavoidable absence, officers must formally delegate responsibility to an authorized senior subordinate officer to maintain continuous representation.
To prevent technical clutter and ensure proper identification, each division or district will be permitted to access the meeting through only a single official login ID, even when multiple officers attend.
The administrative measure aims to ensure timely execution of departmental schemes and streamline monitoring processes across all districts of the state.
