Chandigarh, October 29, 2024 – Arman Singh, a young man from Kutbanpur village near Samana in Patiala district, was reportedly shot and killed in the United States, leaving his family and village in deep mourning. The news reached his family late last night, devastating his mother, who had last spoken to her son just the day before.
According to relatives, 12th-grade graduate Arman moved to the U.S. from Patiala to pursue work opportunities and was employed as a truck driver. The incident is reported to have occurred near his residence in the U.S., though details surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
Local authorities in the United States have initiated an investigation to identify the shooter and uncover the motive behind the attack. Meanwhile, Arman’s family has urged the government for assistance in repatriating his body to India for final rites in his home village.
