CHANDIGARH — Aam Aadmi Party Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Pannu addressed a press conference on Wednesday, raising questions regarding the silence of senior opposition leaders and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee President Harjinder Singh Dhami over ongoing allegations involving an SGPC-run sarai in Sri Anandpur Sahib.
Pannu stated that leaders across Akali Dal (Badal), Congress, and BJP have refrained from addressing the media or participating in public discussions regarding the FIR registered in the matter. He maintained that SGPC President Harjinder Singh Dhami should address press inquiries directly rather than issuing video statements, asserting that the public and the Sikh community seek transparency regarding how facilities were provided at the sarai for an extended duration.
The AAP media leader asserted that personal targeting of the complainant on media platforms does not resolve the core questions surrounding the case. He declared that religious institutions belong to the entire community and urged political representatives to ensure full accountability and transparency regarding their administrative functioning.
