Lucknow, September 25:The 110th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, the philosopher and propounder of the ‘Antyodaya’ philosophy, was observed across the state capital on Friday. Marking the occasion, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath offered floral tributes and paid formal respects to the portrait of the revered thinker at his official residence in Lucknow.
Reflecting on the life and ideological contributions of the founding member of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh, the Chief Minister affirmed through an official communication on social media that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya articulated a vision of national growth rooted deeply in Indian cultural ethos and core human values. He declared that the cornerstone of this philosophy remains the social and economic elevation of the most marginalized individuals standing at the very end of society’s ladder.
The Chief Minister maintained that the principles of ‘Integral Humanism’ and ‘Antyodaya’ continue to guide governance frameworks aimed at socio-economic parity. He asserted that Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya’s ideological vision serves as an enduring source of motivation for establishing an inclusive, self-reliant, and fully developed nation.
