Dhuri: Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann stated during a Lok Milni programme in Mimsa village, Dhuri, that Punjab has witnessed a transformation under his administration, with government initiatives helping households save approximately 15,000 rupees monthly through welfare schemes, free electricity, and healthcare access.
Highlighting key achievements from the past four and a half years, the Chief Minister pointed to extensive improvements in public infrastructure, transparent recruitment for over 70,000 government jobs, and unprecedented agricultural support, including daytime electricity and expanded canal water irrigation reaching over 1,500 previously unserved villages.
He noted that welfare initiatives like the Mawan Dheeyan Satkar Yojna and enhanced educational standards in government institutions—reflected by a surge in NEET qualifiers—demonstrate a commitment to tangible grassroots development and public accountability.
