Chandigarh, Oct 12: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Punjab Media In-charge Baltej Singh Pannu has strongly condemned the alleged entry of Delhi Police personnel inside Gurdwara Sri Bangla Sahib, demanding the immediate resignation of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
Addressing a press conference, Pannu questioned the authorization behind the police action, stating that personnel entered the sacred premises wearing shoes and forcibly removed individuals seeking shelter.
Comparing the heavy-handed measures and mass detentions to an emergency-style crackdown, he argued that the incident breached religious sanctity and drew parallels to historic tragedies, challenging the BJP leadership to justify actions that he claimed mirror past violations of Sikh shrines.
