MANSA — Punjab Bharatiya Janata Party President Kewal Singh Dhillon visited the ongoing protest site in Mansa on Saturday, paying tribute to anti-drug activist Parvinder Singh Jhota and demanding a Central Bureau of Investigation probe into his killing.
During his visit, Dhillon met with the grieving father of the activist, Bhim Singh, praising the family’s resilience in continuing their advocacy for the youth of Punjab despite their personal tragedy.
“His son is lying in the mortuary, yet he continues to raise his voice for Punjab and its youth,” Dhillon stated, honoring Jhota as a martyr who made a great sacrifice to combat the state’s drug menace.
